Townsville Yamaha introduced for engine sales after 1 July 2026, a 6-year or 600-hour extended warranty on four-stroke Yamaha outboards, which is 2 years on top of the factory warranty provided by Yamaha Australia.

To maintain the extended warranty, all servicing of the outboard must be carried out by Townsville Yamaha in accordance with Yamaha's service schedule.
